Greene Performance Space at WNYC is the ground floor, state-of-the-art venue offering New York audiences innovative programming from intimate classical music performances to compelling conversation, literary and political panels and a host of other live musical events. “Radical Acts & Musical Deviancy”

Grammy Award-Winning composer and jazz pianist Arturo O’Farrill will serve as the Greene Space’s 2019 Artist-in-Residence. During the span of his four-month residency, O’Farrill will present “Radical Acts & Musical Deviancy” – a series of conversations and transcultural, genre-defying musical performances featuring experiments in jazz, Afrobeat, Latin fusion and other genres which defy labels.
This unique program supports artists, curators, and collectives who contribute to current culture in New York City. The Greene Space presents world premiere works for downtown audiences, providing access to live performance as well as to conversation and other programming that offers insight into the artistic process.
