Lincoln Center Theater
Theater Classics, New and Reimagined and Accessible to More Audiences
Lincoln Center Theater is a cherished theatrical treasure in the heart of New York City’s Upper West Side. Located in the architecturally iconic Lincoln Center, the Vivian Beaumont, Mitzie E. Newhouse and Claire Tow Theaters present imaginative revivals and premieres of important American plays. Guided by the motto “Good Plays, Popular Prices”, LCT strives to keep admission prices reasonable and its doors open to all.
The Foundation was most recently the lead sponsor of Lerner & Loewe’s My Fair Lady, which opened at LCT’s Vivian Beaumont stage in April of 2018. Previous Foundation support of LCT productions including The King and I, War Horse, Act One, Shakespeare’s Henry IV and King Lear, as well as Contact and The Clean House.
The Foundation also supports LCT’s LincTix program, designed to foster the development of young audiences and enliven the Lincoln Center campus. The program enables 21-35 year olds to enroll online at no charge and to order significantly discounted tickets in advance of each performance. Learn more about LincTix here.
