ACLU

Founded in 1920, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is widely recognized as the country’s foremost advocate of individual rights. They work in the courts, the legislature, and in communities across the nation to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country. We support the ACLU Voting Rights Project, which protects and facilitates the freedom of all Americans to vote. We also support the Reproductive Freedom Project, which upholds the rights of individuals to decide freely, without governmental hindrance or coercion, whether or not to bear a child.
