The JLGreene Theatre opens at the Irish Arts Center with Agreement April 11 through May 12, 2024

This acclaimed political drama is about the negotiations that led to the Good Friday Agreement, which was signed 26 years ago this month. The play examines the process that ended most of the violence of the Troubles, the conflict in Northern Ireland that dated from the late 1960s. Playwright Owen McCafferty weaves real drama from the landmark event, and the production from the Lyric Theatre in Belfast met with critical acclaim and a sold-out run. The production marks the first in the new JLGreene Theatre at the recently opened Irish Arts Center.
